OSU Arts Alumni Society Dessert Reception
We are hosting a reception prior to the 8 pm Friday, March 9 production, in Mershon Auditorium.
Our private reception will take place from 7 pm to 7:45 pm in the Wexner Center Café.

As an added perk, the Wexner Center galleries will be open.
The reception is free. Tickets are required for the opera. To ensure a seat, please order your tickets early by calling the Wexner Center ticket office at (614) 292-3535. Tickets are $12 for alumni.

To access the reception, simply park in the Ohio Union Parking Garage on High Street, enter the Wexner CenterÕs main doors (High St and 15th Ave) and go downstairs to the café. WeÕll be waiting for you! Then to go to the opera, you will to simply take an escalator up to the Mershon lobby from the Wexner Center.
OSU's new opera director Peter Kozma is thrilled to be staging his first major opera on campus—a modernized, cosmopolitan version of The Elixir of Love (L'elisir d'amore), by Gaetano Donizetti. The bold and colorful production of the 19th century comic opera centers on the timeless struggle of males and females in love—a light-hearted tale filled with lovers' quarrels, magic potions and commercialism. The all-student cast will be accompanied by an orchestra of student musicians. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
