Join the OSU Arts Alumni Society for a Groovy Event celebrating opening night of the OSU Theatre/CAPA production of the ‘60s hit Hair!
We are hosting a reception at the gorgeous, historic Southern Theatre from
6:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday, November 16 prior to Hair’s opening production.
Our private reception will fill the lovely lobby of the Southern with hors d’oeuvres, wine and soft drinks, mingling and memories, and door prizes.

1960s attire is encouraged! Dig out your bell bottoms!

The reception is free. Tickets are required for the play. We have reserved a block of seats at the Southern Theatre. To ensure a seat, please order your ticket early! Click the link below for the order form.

The Southern Theatre is located at 21 E. Main Street in downtown Columbus. Parking is available across the street from the theatre at the City Center parking garage

Hair –  the first rock-musical ever – took  Broadway by storm in the late 1960s and introduced audiences to such favorite tunes as Aquarius, Let the Sunshine In, Easy to be Hard and I Believe in Love. The OSU production is a collaboration with CAPA. It features a cast of 20 theatre students and will rock to the sounds of a live band. The show, originally created by Gerome Ragni, James Rado and Galt Macdermot, brought the excitement of the long-haired, peace-loving hippies of New York’s East Village to the stage.
