| Camps and Workshops Summertime! Ohio State may slow down in the summer with fewer classes and a big drop in the number of college students around. But it brings an increased number of younger students—and their teachers—to the university for camps, seminars and workshops. The College of the Arts offers opportunities for young people to brush up on their musical skills and experience new technology. Here’s a look at some of our summer activities: Digital Animation: This free, two-week summer experience for high school girls allows them to work with women mentors from OSU’s Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD). They will investigate technology through the creative applications of computer-generated animation and web media in the program, which runs June 19–30. This will be the fifth summer the program has been offered.
