Prudence Y. Gill has served as curator of the Hopkins
Hall Gallery for the College of the Arts since receiving her MFA degree
from Ohio State. During her tenure the gallery has presented more than
300 exhibitions, gained recognition as an established venue supportive
of crossdisciplinary collaborations among various programs, departments,
and colleges, and has maintained a responsive role as a "learning
laboratory" for the arts within the University. Ms. Gill has twice
received the OAC-Individual Artist Fellowship. Through her efforts, previous
gallery exhibitions have received support the Ohio Arts Council (OAC),
OSU Affirmative Action Grant, and more than thirty OSU departments and
colleges.
